2003 - 1996

It's an easy morning's work - move the bulls off the lower pasture where there's nothing left but swamp grass and cat tails - and a good day to take Dudley the new pup along for some exercise. The massive, lumbering Angus bulls have been constant companions to the mallard ducks for most of the fall and it's somewhat of a shock for them to encounter a feisty little cowdog pup. So far in life, Dudley has been content chasing ranch cats and gophers Now there's one - ton bulls and some brand new critters. Dudley says to himself, "I think I'm going to like this job."
