One of Montana's most pristine valley's is the Big Hole. The huge ranches covering the valley floor are large enough to accommodate both cattle and wildlife. All summer, the elk feed among the livestock and have discovered relatively untouched pastures in the corrals near the ranch headquarters. Late in the afternoon, the eld jump these mere inconveniences for easy pickings. Hunting season won't be here until October, and by then the tall grass will be gone, the rut will be over, and bulls will have moved to the timber. Here, ranchers Seth Stoddard and Guy Peterson are moving bulls, setting their sights, and catching hunting fever. Too bad, they're still "September Bulls."
